We are on tour.

Right now we are on a break, but we are currently touring See Your Midnight Breath in the Shipyard in Southern Ontario and Quebec. Last Thursday-Sunday was: Waterloo (Maxwell's), Guelph (Wally's), St. Catharines (Seventy Three) and Toronto (The Comedy Bar - Sunday Night Live's Musical guest).

It was quiiiiiiiiiite a series of shows. Met lots of new friends.

Looking forward to getting on the road with Eric Welton this weekend - Thursday - Toronto, Tranzac; Friday - London, Black Shire; Saturday - Windsor, Phog Lounge.

What we say vs. what we don't say...

There's an ongoing debate, internally, as well as with others, about how much you should say, and how much you should hold tight. This time, I feel like being less personal, and more... romantic. That's the best word I can come up with. I've realized that I'm aiming to wear a bit of a disguise in this round of the album. I wrote my bio tonight, and it's... well it's not a bio. But at this point, I think I'll keep it. It, the contents and the anti-bio nature, feel correct for this record.

I have the album cover, designed by Jenny Joyal. It. Is. Amazing. I can't wait to show you.

I have heard 4 mixes.

I am meeting with publicists.

We have our CMW date (March 12th at Rancho Relaxo, 11pm.)

We are meeting a potential new drummer on Tuesday.

We found other people to join the space with us.

Things are working out. Money is, and always will be, tricky business. ;)

I have been remiss, friends.

I am not making any promises. Blogs are strange, and perhaps take away from whatever semblance of mystery one might like to retain...

However, should anyone still check back here, we will be releasing a new album on April 7th, 2009 - See Your Midnight Breath in the Shipyard. (Four days after my brother's wedding, and one day before my birthday. BUSY WINTER/SPRING)

We're also playing CMW, and there's actually a lot of other stuff, too. But I'll be more specific when specificity is mine to hold.

STEEL LION BURNING TRAIN

i haven't posted here in a really long time. a lot of things have changed. a lot of things are new, and a lot of things are still the same.

last night was the first show on this series of spring tour dates. and i have to say that it was one of the funnest nights i've had playing in a really long time.

ah. i was about to get all sentimental and gushy, but i feel like i don't want to do that. maybe i'll just say that i feel really good about the upcoming months, and excited for all that lies ahead.

...and craiggy? what else?
