Home

It's very weird to be home. I expected the apartment would look different, and it does.
Shelby cleaned.
hahaha. No, I always feel weird when I get home from being away.

We had a fun time in Moncton, met some great and drunken people. ;)

Last night in Quebec City was pretty wonderful. We played at Studio 572, which is a boy named Sebastian's house. He put us up for the night, too. Played with the lovely Mary Beth from Bette and Wallet and Neil Conway again. I didn't mic anything, just played full out and Mr. Rose did some beautiful guitar work.

It was indeed a long fucking drive home today. I'm pretty torn about how I feel so I won't really think about it until tomorrow. Or maybe Wednesday.

We lived. The van didn't crash. We met some amazing people and experienced many things. Wow. Home. How weird.

Harlot-town

heh. or Ch'town.

I love you Charlottetown. You're pretty, your people are nice, you left us two loaves of bread, your soil is red.

Ferries

I'm in Charlottetown. We took the ferry from Newfoundland and slept in a cabin last night. Spent some time in the ferry bar listening to a couple of guys play traditional Newfoundland music as well as The Eagles. har.

We're having a wonderful time. It half feels like a vacation and half feels like work. We had a night off last night which was nice. Charlottetown is beautiful. I had ice cream on the ferry.

Let's see... shows are going well. Lots of improvising with the boys on my songs. David Picco and his band of gorgeous fellows are sounding amazing. We're all getting along and are breaking even, so that's good. It's hard to assemble your thoughts about things when you're in them, so I think that's probably all I can report. We've been taking loads and loads of pictures which will someday become public.

Things are nice. I wonder what it will feel like when I get back home...
